Don’t just talk about a goal; plan realistic and achievable goals so you can commit to reaching them

On, #AccountabilityMonday in my private Facebook group, I and another SASSy lady shared our daily/weekly task.  She plans to work on her business plan.  My advice to her was to consider working on her marketing plan first.

Why?  Because when you plan and #Implement your marketing process, you will get your true numbers and from there, you can add those TRUE numbers to your business plan.

While researching articles to share with my Facebook group ~ Womenpreneur Online –Get Your SASS on™ – (S)trategic + (A)ction + (S)ignature + (S)ystems = SASS in your business, I stumbled upon this article titled “Implementation Phase of the Strategic Marketing Process” on Smallbusiness.chron.com that I believe is very helpful.

In the article, contributor Kristie Lorette wrote:

The strategic marketing process consists of three phases: Planning, implementation, and control.  When created effectively, this process ensures the success of an organization’s marketing strategy.  When you focus on the implementation phase of the process, which is the putting of the marketing strategies and plans into action, there are ways to help make this step as successful as possible.
